Do not be fooled by the blond hair, 23 year old Alexis Semach is currently working on her masters in Geotechnical Civil Engineering at The Ohio State University. Family comes first for Alexis, who is eternally grateful for the support of her loving parents and her amazing younger brother.
She loves spending time out in the country at her parents’ home where she has raised steers, llama, goats, chickens, miniature horses, and rabbits. Alexis has been taught and implemented three ways in which to castrate steers. When she is with her family she is bound to be outdoors jumping on the water trampoline in the acre pond, shooting trap, going on hikes through the woods, or just lying in the hammock with Tytan her Yorkshire Terrier and Addie her Wired Haired Pointing Griffon. She has been skiing since she was 6, and is confident to say that she has yet to meet a guy that can keep up.
Mother Theresa lends Alexis guidance in her actions by stating, “Do small things with great love.” Thus Alexis enjoys giving back through a three on three basketball tournament dear to her heart known as Hoop-4-Hope benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She was also a part of Campus Girls USA representing Ohio State in both 2008 and 2009, with all proceeds benefiting Breast Cancer Research. You can even catch a glimpse of her taking part in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in more than one city. Alexis feels that sharing her faith with the community is important as well through putting on programs such as The Journey to Bethlehem.
As a 5’11,” blue eyed, blond; Alexis also fills her free time with modeling. You may see her supporting 97.1 FM The Fan Sports Radio as a Fan Girl at different sporting events around Ohio. Due to her love for working out she is a Fitness Model for VPX/Redline Energy as well. In the 2008 she was asked to the Columbus Dispatch Fall Fashion Spread, and has also appeared as a feature model for X-Magazine and Sniper Babes. She has also work for companies such as Louis Vuitton, Saks 5th Ave, Motorsports of Columbus, Inc, Panasonic, Axe Body Spray and Status Magazine just to name a few.
