HI EVERYONE! My name is Taylor Nichole Parks and I am OHIO’S PERFECT TEEN! I am from Perrysburg, Ohio and just last year I graduated from Rossford High School. All throughout high school I was involved in sports and clubs. From freshman to senior year I was a cheerleader and ran track. I also was part of International Club, Choir, National Honor Society, and a mentor for Stay Tobacco-Free Athletic Mentor Program. This is a great program that talks to younger kids about getting involved in other activities besides drugs and alcohol. My senior year I was a member of my high school’s DECA Chapter. I participated in the Fashion Merchandising event and made it all the way to NATIONALS in Atlanta, Georgia. It was such an amazing time and a great accomplishment!Now I am in my first year of college here at Kent State University and LOVING IT! I am working towards my Bachelor’s in Fashion Merchandising. Within the next four to five years, I hope to get the chance to study abroad in either: Florence, Italy or New York City for a semester. But for now I am just trying to keep up with homework and exams. Keeping my grades up has always been important to me.When I am not busy studying, I love to sing, dance, and be with my friends and family. My friends and I are always doing one of two things: shopping or watching our favorite shows. I never want to sit inside. Instead I would rather go outside and take a walk, relax on the lawn, or play a game of football. Summertime is the best time of the year! On April 11, 2009 I was crowned OHIO’S PERFECT TEEN. I am so excited to make appearances throughout this year and help this system grow. National’s is on August 13-16, 2009 in Orlando, Florida and it is going to be a lot of fun meeting all of the other queens across the country. At National’s I plan on working very hard and having tons of fun! One thing that I always remember is:
